Plush! & Pat Jones

Pat Jones, Virginia Harrison and Christina Turner

Attended a European Textile Network Conference (ETN) in 2005. This conference was the catalyst for their partnership.

The textiles of Turkey inspired the first of what has become a series of  exhibitions titled:  Plush!& Pat Jones.

Inspired by travel and their interest in ancient locations of great textile traditions has increased the sense of discovery and reveals how their designs explore new ways of interpreting old approaches and motifs, always within the domains of: colour, light, shade, shape and pattern.

Virginia Harrison and Christina Turner - the creative partnership known as Plush! are two handloom weaver/designers who are joined again by Pat Jones, Textile Designer who has created one off garments and accessories for the 2021 exhibition.

They all love the process of designing for hand woven cloth and their  fabrics have a unique handle and drape not to be found in industrially manufactured cloth.
